Veterinarian
I am a 2002 graduate of Punjab Agricultural University in India. I love Veterinary Medicine because having families with happy and healthy pets is the ultimate reward. I have had several years of general practice as well as Emergency Medicine. I have spent the last several years of my career in a leadership roles, helping manage hospitals and train young veterinarians. I love watching people learn to do something and then see them succeed at it. I enjoy Internal Medicine and advanced soft tissue surgery. I have a focus on the best care for pets, from puppy/kittenhood to their senior days, with emphasis on preventative care, diet and nutrition. Having grown up in Lake County, it is so important that I am able to be back here, giving back to the community. It is very important to me that pet owner be an active part of their pet’s healthcare team.
Dr. Rachel Lovell
Veterinarian
Dr. Rachel Lovell is a 2018 graduate from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She spent the first four years after veterinary school serving as a veterinarian and Captain in the US Army, which is what brought her north to Illinois. Dr. Lovell is an avid runner and Disney fanatic. When not working, you can find her running the trails with her two dogs, Gatsby and Chandler; most likely training for a marathon or a Disney race weekend.
Lizzie Roscoe
CVT / Practice Manager
Lizzie has been in the veterinary field since 2016. She became a CVT after graduating from Fox College in 2017. She recently switched roles and became practice manager at Townline Animal Hospital in 2022. One of her favorite hobbies is crocheting. Lizzie enjoys spending time with her daughter Emerson, husband Travis and her dog Blueberry.
Chanel Brown
Veterinary Technician
Chanel has been in the Veterinary Medicine field for three years. She takes pride in providing care for animals, it has been her lifelong dream and she finds it very rewarding. She attends Ashworth College to get her degree in Veterinary Technology Science to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is the proud owner of two dogs, Kari a Pitbull and Dakota a Lab mix. She also has a Bearded Dragon named Viognier.
Natalie Carvajal
Veterinary Technician
Natalie has been in the Veterinary field for 8 years. She is very passionate about helping animals. She loves running and spending time with her family and dog Moose.
Maggie Sawusch
Veterinary Technician
Growing up, Maggie always had a passion for animals. In 2011 she started as a kennel tech at her local veterinary clinic. From there, her love for animals grew and she decided to pursue a career in equine. Graduating from BlackHawk College with an associates in Horse Science and Technology. She then moved to the sunny state of Florida and pursued her dreams working on a breeding farm in Ocala FL. Working alongside a Reproduction Veterinarian she assisted in delivering 60 Warmblood foals. While in Florida she adopted two German Shorthaired Pointer mix puppies named Nalu Wave and Moose. She is now continuing her journey as she explores Small Animal Medicine.

Pat has worked in the veterinary field for over 35 years, from kennel staff to manager. Her preferred role is in customer service, greeting and helping our clients and furry friends.
Chute & Nolan
Clinic Mascots
Chute and Nolan have been a part of the Townline Team since 2018. Chute can be found greeting patients in the lobby, while Nolan keeps an eye on the treatment area. In their free time, they enjoy lots of treats, naps in the sun and frequent cuddles!
